A display is provided so as to be completely under control. |
The braking action is activated by opening the running contactor. Once that is done, everything is under control. In fact, the diagnostics uses the alphanumerical display unit and the function buttons, which make the CFD devices very easy to use. Thanks to the display unit, the user can check, set or visualize:
- the braking current
- the braking time
- the signalling of the alarm status of the braking current (in accordance to required standards provided by the EN 691 “Woodworking Machinery” safety regulations). |

Main functions: |
- Auto Brake Time
CFD devices are equipped with the “AUTO BRAKE TIME” function, which allows the user to check the braking cycle with absolute safety. When this function is activated, it stops the braking cycle whenever itdetects the motor in a stop status, even if the set brake time has not ended yet.
- Settings
With the CFD devices, the brake times can be set correctly, as well as the braking current and with the “AUTO BRAKE TIME” the lock motor threshold register can be set.
- Auto Check (Functionality check)
To facilitate all the operations, the devices are equipped with function control circuits that show possible abnormalities on the display unit; es.: the “Default safe out”(alarm contact) comes into operation when one of the messages appears on the display:
- NO VOLTAGE
- OVER CURRENT
- UNDER CURRENT |
