Salone del Mobile 2015, the 54th edition starts today

Over two thousand exhibitors are expected to arrive, about 250 more than in 2014.
The appointment is at the Rho-Pero exhibition center in Milan from April 14 to 19.

The Salone del Mobile is since more than half a century, the most important event for the design and furniture sector, channeling the names and companies most representative of the industry.

This year there are over two thousand exhibitors, about 250 more than in 2014.
The exhibition area this year is just over 200 thousand square meters. 75% is occupied by the Salone del Mobile.

SaloneSatellite, which is the springboard for designers under 35, this year is dedicated to the theme “Planet Life”, linked to that of Expo2015 “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life”. Here are some 700 young designers from around the world, including students from the international design schools.

Born in 1961, the Furniture Fair celebrates 54 years, while the SaloneSatellite instead becomes of age: in fact, this year celebrates the 18th edition.
SaloneSatellite in these 18 years has seen 10 thousand young designers and 270 international design schools, including the most prestigious in the world.

For the last edition of the Salone del Mobile came from 170 countries over 350 thousand visitors, 65 thousand more than in 2013, and it seems that the trend is in growth for 2015.

Among the exhibitors and design proposals there will of course also the most prestigious names in the world of tanning, which will offer its fine leather, which materials are undisputed luxury component for sofas and carpets, but also with the news of the floor and wall leather forniture.
