Not just fashion, but the entire leather production chain is on show beginning on 5th July.
The doors are about to open on the 2012 edition of the India International Leather Fair¸ to be held in New Delhi from 5 to 7 July 2012. For three days, the second largest city in India will be host to exhibitors from around the world to celebrate the world of leather, from the initial processing phases through to the finished product.
Shoes and footwear components, and also machinery, materials and technologies, are the products that more than 150 companies (around 50 from abroad) will be exhibiting during the fair, and will be testimony to the new fashion trends for the coming season: from style to colours, to fabrics to the coolest latest designs.
After the success of the last edition, again this year the trade fair has been organised by ITPO (India Trade Promotion Organisation), with the support of CLE (Council for Leather Exports), CLRI (Central Leather Research Institute), FDDI (Footwear Design and Development Institute) and IFCOMA (Indian Footwear Components Manufacturers Association). The organisers are expecting a vast and varied public: not just importers and exporters, but also manufacturers, agents, fashion designers, opinion makers and all those who want to learn more about the tanning industry and its products.
