Whether they are boots from the belle époque or sandals with primitive prints, urban futuristic heels or nude long slippers, once again the halls of the Moc Trade Fair in Munich hosted the excellence of Italian footwear production. Now at its 38th edition, at the Moc Footwear Trade Fair in Germany haute couture Italian shoes were the real protagonists from 1st to 3rd April.
This International trade fair is organised by ANCI – the Italian National Footwear Association, and at the spring edition the 208 exhibiting firms presented their autumn/winter 2012-2013 collections to the 2500 trade experts, confirming the numbers of the previous edition. The leading European brands were on show at Moc from Germany, France, Great Britain, Austria, Spain and Portugal and some of the most prestigious Italian names: Baldinini, Franceschetti, Rossetti and Galizio Torresi.
“In this last edition, the companies were able to strengthen their customer relations and establish new forms of cooperation with other trade operators” – Cleto Sagripanti, President of ANCI, stated. “The German market is a very interesting catchment basin for Italian quality products. The MOC results were satisfying both in terms of visitors and orders, confirming the leadership in Germany in the high and medium-high bracket of the trade fair system managed by ANCI”.
